Joyce V. Wood, 84 of Uniontown passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in her home.
She was retired from Whirlpool Corp. She was a member of Uniontown Baptist Church and of the Women's Mission Union (WMU). She also assisted the elderly people in the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband's Ralph E. Davis and Vestel Wood; her parents Jim and Ora (Montgomery) Fears; a brother J.E. Fears.
Funeral service will be at 2 PM Monday, November 15, 2021 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Dripping Springs Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren. There will be no set visitation.
She is survived by one daughter Cindi Bradford and husband Eugene of Short, Oklahoma; one son Jeff Davis of Van Buren; one sister Connie Baker and husband Ed of Nicut, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; her caregiver Maria Velasco and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Larry Hyde, Shawn Pinkerton, Bobby Good, Lance Bradford, Marty Green and Jacob Green.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men at Uniontown Baptist Church.
