Bobby Dean Sanders, 88, died November 10, 2021, after an illness. Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of Horace and Yetive Martin Sanders. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School and The University of South Carolina, from which he received a BA in Business Administration in 1955. While at USC, he was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and of Pi Kappa Phi social fraternity.

He was the retired owner of Office Supply Center of Florence and was formerly employed as the Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Stephenson Finance of Florence. He previously worked as an auditor with the South Carolina Tax Commission in both Lancaster and Columbia.

Mr. Sanders was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as an ordained deacon and a Sunday school teacher, as well as serving on various committees. In his earlier life, he served fourteen years as a supply officer with the South Carolina National Guard.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Lawton T. Miller.
