Funeral Held for Man Killed by Train

Palenstine, Texas May 28
The funeral of J.L. Dobbs, well known sawmill man, killed in a railroad crossing accident Sunday night at Tucker, West of Palenstine was held Monday afternoon at Holmes Cemetery near here.
His son O.R. Dobbs, and wife sustained broken arms and other injuries. A baby of the couple was not injured, though hurled from the truck in which the party was traveling.
William Lyne, a veteran engineer of the International Great Northern Railroad, was at the throttle of the engine of the Sunshine Special which struck the automobile.
