Kevin Allen Reeves, 65, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away at 11:24 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in his residence.

Mr. Reeves was born October 31, 1956 in Lake Charles, LA, where he was a lifelong resident. He was raised in the Methodist faith and was a 1974 graduate of Barbe High School. He worked almost thirty years for Firestone Polymers as an operator. Kevin was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing, but his true passion in life was for his family and his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a friendly outgoing man who never met a stranger.

Mr. Reeves is survived by his son, Jason Reeves; daughter, Stacey N. Reeves; grandchildren, Andon Reeves, Kenadi Reeves, Austin Trahan, Tyler Trahan, Brooklyn Trahan, and Alexis Renee Trahan; great-grandchild, Olivia Lane Trahan; and niece, Heather Guillory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jeanette Reeves; sister, Sharon Ann Peterson; niece, Brandy Lemons; and the mother of his children, Renee Reeves Carpenter.

His memorial service will be at 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Buff. Celebrant Steve Shirley will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 PM and continue until 8:00 PM.
