Donna was born in Humboldt on November 28, 1941, daughter of the late Eino and Mayme (Luoma) Koski. She attended Champion High School, graduating with the class of 1959. Following graduation Donna worked for State Farm Insurance for 7 and a half years before going on to work as a caregiver in home health care for over 30 years. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets. She was a member of the Black River Apostolic Lutheran Church.
Donna is survived by 3 siblings- Peter (Bonnie) Koski, Diana (Dennis) Johnson, Joyce Niemi, special friend- Diane Poirier, 5 nieces and nephews- Derek (Janine) Johnson, Shelly (Evan) Janson, Brian Johnson, John (Melissa) Koski, Bethany (James) Prusi, several great nieces and nephews, along with a host of brothers and sisters in faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son- Scott Nelson, and infant sister- Carol Koski.
Donna's family will greet relatives and friends at the Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church in Negaunee on Saturday November 13, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm with Dan Hintsala officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Interment will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens in Negaunee Township on Monday November 15, 2021.
