Pat was born to the late Estell Dedrick and Mary Ellen (Wallace) Simpson in Loudon, TN. As a young woman, Pat worked in the Bacon hosiery mill like so many others. Later she joined the Don P. Smith Chair Factory where she retired following many years of service. Pat's favorite time of year was Christmas, she loved anything having to do with the holiday which also delighted her brother Freddie Ray. In Pat's retirement years she spent most of her time caring for her younger brother until his death in 2014.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Billy E. Harp; her brothers, Walter "Baldy" Simpson, Freddie Ray, Norman and Allen Worley and her sister, Lavonda Kay Blankenship. She is survived by her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Michelle Harp, Lenoir City; several extended family members and a special friend, Jackie Frady, Loudon.
Services honoring and remembering Pat Harp will be held 3:00 PM graveside Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 at Loudon County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gene Farmer officiating. The body will lie in state 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Wednesday and the family will greet friends 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service at McGill-Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N., Loudon
