Janet passed at her South Jordan, Ut home on Nov 6, 2021. Janet struggled with deteriorating health the last few years but with the help of her family was able to maintain her independence, living in her beloved childhood home.

Janet grew up in South Jordan, Utah. In her early years Janet enjoyed gardening. As her health deteriorated, she was still able to enjoy gardening with a half-acre garden on her property through the hard work of her niece Kacey and her husband Joe.

Janet was very passionate about her causes. Whether an individual who was slighted or the underdog, Janet was always on their side rooting for justice or the win. In addition to working for the Salt Lake School District for many years, Janet was the representative to the School Board for the Salt Lake School District school lunch employees for many years. As the employee representative she took her job very seriously representing every person to the best of her ability.
