FITZGERALD REV. TIMOTHY, C.P. Died on November 3, 2021. A member of the Congregation of the Passion, St. Paul of the Cross Province and the son of the late Stephen and Ellen Fitzgerald. Predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Helen Wills and Mary Dunne and two brothers, John and Stephen. He is survived by his sister Irene Fitzgerald, several nephews and nieces, and their children. Ordained in 1956, most of his ministry was in preaching missions and retreats to priests, religious and laity.
Wake services will be at the Immaculate Conception Monastery chapel on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 7 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of Fr. Tim's life and ministry as a brother of St. Paul of the Cross (the founder of the Congregation of the Passion dedicated to proclaiming God's love for the world revealed through the Passion of Jesus Christ) will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Monastery Choir on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10 A.M. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception cemetery in Jamaica, NY. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Fr. Tim's life will also be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at St. Paul of the Cross Monastery Church in Pittsburgh, PA at 2 P.M.
