David Wesley Schilling, age 94, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, died Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his home.
He was born on July 9, 1927 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Samuel James and Louise Marie (Durflinger) Schilling.
David was a veteran, serving his country in WWII in the Army Air Corps., the Navy, and the Air Force.
He also worked as an environmental test engineer for TRW.
He married Diana Harness on December 20, 1971.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Allan Schilling; and two brothers, Samuel Theodore "Ted" Schilling and Richard Dean "Dick" Schilling.
David is survived by his wife; four sons, David W. Schilling II (and wife, Kim) of Chicago, Richard Harness (and wife, Susan) of Colorado, David Harness of Maryland and John (and wife, Joanna) of Alaska; four daughters, Laura (and husband, Rick) Hamilton of Garfield, Arkansas, Barbra of Colorado, Sharon (and husband, Allan) of Colorado and Elizabeth of Bentonville, Arkansas; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Service will be held in his honor at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
