Clara was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, playing cards, and polka dancing.
She was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp. where she was active with Ladies Aid and helped transport St. John Lutheran School students. She was a member of the Henry County Hospital Auxiliary and enjoyed volunteering at the hospital and gift shop and delivering meals for Henry County Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Meyer of Maumee, Nancy (Jack) Glaser and Betty Ashbaugh, both of Napoleon; grandchildren, Chris (Tobie) Beck, Julie (Nino) Garcia, and Paula (Don) Bowley; great grandchildren, Sofie, Tallulah, MacKenzie (Cody), Meghan, Eddy, and Callie; and a great-great granddaughter, Laney. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter; grandson, Jon Beck; sons-in-law, Richard Beck and Terry Ashbaugh; brother, Henry Seedorf; and sisters, Martha Fetter, Pauline Rosebrook and Ruth Seedorf.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13th. 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-7 p.m. at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
