Earl lived in Rockford since 1967 coming from Iowa. He was employed as a Iron Pourer by Moline Corporation in Belvidere, before retiring. Earl attended school in Louisiana.
Earl leaves to cherish many loving memories, his son, Corey (Shonta) Jackson; two grandchildren, Kareem Waters and Janiyah Jackson; sister, Marion Vanardo; a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter, Dorothy Waters; two brothers, and three sisters.
Services were held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
