Lucille Marie Jones
February 18, 1937 - November 7, 2021

Lucille Marie Jones, "Lucy" passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at her home in Westminster, Maryland. Lucy lovingly known as "Lou", was the devoted wife of 64 years, to husband Henry "Hap" Jones, whom she married on May 5, 1957.

Lucille was born on February 18, 1937, in Baltimore City to the late Christine Louise and John Joseph Bianca. Lucy was raised in Pimlico, with her 3 siblings, Jean, Rose Marie "Puggey", and Joseph "Joe". She took great pride in being the daughter to a Baltimore City Police Officer. Lucy was a devout Catholic of the St. Ambrose Parish of Baltimore City. Throughout her life, she was a supporter of the Daughters of Charity and their mission to serve others. Lucy graduated from Seton High School in Baltimore, Class of 1955 and served as class president. Lucy cherished her friends and memories of Seton High and the many reunions she attended.

In addition to her husband, Lucille is survived by her children, daughter Nina Bingham of Westminster; Sons; Vincent Jones of Philadelphia; Phillip Jones Westminster; Tim Jones of Manchester; Dearest daughter Christina preceded her in death March 31, 2015.

Mamma Lucy was blessed by 8 grandchildren; Nicholas Bingham, Megan McDiarmid; Kristin Wenger, Brenna Bohn, Zachary McDiarmid, Carley Jones, Caitlyn Jones, Alissa Jones, and 9 loving great-grandchildren Ray; Jake; Madison; Blake; Faith; Ava; Andrew; Natalie and Owen; And many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Lucy enjoyed traveling, and had a great love of American history that she often shared with her family. Lucy had many talents, she was a professional hair stylist, an excellent seamstress with a creative talent for making dolls and designing one of a kind Christmas displays. Lucy had a special love for animals, especially German Shepherds. This special love, led her to Titan, her beloved german shepherd that had been rescued by a US Marshal. Lucy was proud of her Italian American heritage and loved cooking Sunday spaghetti dinners spending time with her family. Lucy was very patriotic and honored all those who served her country, supporting our nation's Veterans and fallen police officers.

In addition to her parents, and loving daughter Christina, Lucille was preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Bianca, Joseph Bianca and Rose Marie Yost.

A visitation for Lucille will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster on Friday, November 12 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville.
