Mary Lou Webb, 81, of Basehor, KS passed away on November 6, 2021 into her Eternal heavenly home. Mary Lou was born on April 13, 1940 in Walnut Ridge, AR to Charles W. Moffitt and Violet O. (Loveland) Moffitt.
Mary Lou moved to Kansas City as a teenager. She attended Argentine High School. On April 26, 1957 she was united in marriage to Earnest "Bud" Webb in Kansas City, KS.
Mary Lou worked for Procter & Gamble for several years until she became focused on being a caregiver to her family as a homemaker and peacemaker. She loved to read and play the piano, especially gospel music. She was highly involved in church functions and activities. Mary Lou was a servant of God and loved him without end.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her loving husband Earnest Webb and a brother, Robert Douglas Moffitt.
She is survived by three children, Michael Webb (Shari), Diana Jacobs, and Vicki Logsdon (Jason); six grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon, Ashley, Alison, Morgan, and Austin; and six great grandchildren Cooper, Nevaeh, Jack, Harrison, Adah, and Maren.
A visitation will be held at 4:30-6:00 PM with services beginning at 6:00 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Maple Hill Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at 9:00 AM Wednesday at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the caregivers from Senior Care Homes and Evergreen Community of Johnson County for all the special loving care they gave her while she was there. In lieu of flowers the family would suggest a charitable donation to The Hill Ministries in Shawnee, KS, Evergreen Community of Johnson County, or a charity of your choice dedicated to help find a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
