Everett L. Sanders, 77, of Star Rt., Mammoth Cave, Ky. died March 30, 1983 at his home. / He was born April 6, 1905 in Edmonson County. The son of Lewis Sanders and Georgia Moon Sanders. He was married to Cordelia Brooks Sanders, who survives. He was a member and a deacon of the Hill Grove Baptist Church. / Survivors other than his wife include one son Elmer Sanders of Louisville; five daughters, Clorene Demunburn of Sweeden, Georgia Childress of Cub Run, Inez Hill of Henderson, Joyce Poteet of Mammoth Cave, Carolyn McCombs of Brownsville; one sister Effie Hicks of Leitchfield; 26 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 2, 1983 at the Hill Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Dave Taylor with interment in the church cemetery under the direction of Dermitt Funeral Home-Leitchfield.
