Denny Reford Young, 34, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021.
He was born September 11, 1987 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Dennis R. Young and Nancy (Best) Young.
Survivors include one sister, Ashley (Jerod) Nelis of Greenwood; one brother, Cory (Beth) Young of Miami, FL; three nephews, Deklan and Parker Young and Preston Nelis; one niece, Corinne Nelis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Denny was a 2006 graduate of Center Grove High School. He earned his bachelors degree in Political Science from Indiana University in 2010.
He was employed as a dispatcher at Commercial Sewer Cleaning Co., Inc. in Indianapolis for over four years.
Denny was a member of Millersville Masonic Lodge #126, F. & A.M., and the Murat Shrine.
Denny was always a kind hearted individual who had a deep love for his friends and family. He loved spending time with his niece and nephews whenever he got the opportunity. Denny often enjoyed fishing with his late grandfather, and was one of the most loyal sports fans you would encounter. Denny would always brighten any room he entered with a smile on his face. Denny will be forever missed by all.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street. A Masonic Funeral will take place at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Ron Reid will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 12, 2021 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood.
