Jim Parker, 96, of London, Arkansas, died Friday, October 15, 2021, at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center. The son of Charlie and Effie D. (Drummond) Parker, he was born August 12, 1925, in London.

Jim loved the land and spent a large portion of his life farming while also running a water well drilling business. He attended the Martin Chapel Assembly of God in London where he worshipped God and strived to enrich his walk of faith.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Annis Gladine (Booher) Parker; his parents; five sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his three daughters: Nina Buckner of Lowell, AR; Charlene Hughes of Clarksville; and Pamela Blagg (Ronnie) of Van Buren; his son, Glen Parker (Shelley) of London; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at East Point Cemetery, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Rev. Jerry Ferguson will officiate. Visitation will start one hour prior to the service at 1:00PM at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Martin Chapel Assembly of God Church, 6635 SR333, London, AR 72847.
