Noreen Ellen Donaghue (Reid)

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Noreen Ellen (Reid) Donaghue, at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Francis Joseph Donaghue and dear mother of Paula Donaghue (Robin Cardinal) and Tom Donaghue. Special grandmother to Arnold Durant. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Cecelia and her husband Jack Lefave, her brothers Murray Reid and his wife Elsie, Paul Reid and his spouses Edna and Betty, Bernard Reid and his wife Eva and by her parents Thomas Joseph Reid and Rose Ann Murray. Noreen was born and raised in Escott and was a lifetime member of the CWL for over 68 years and a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday November 11th from 6-8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Friday November 12th at 10am.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care, SPCA of Leeds and Grenville or to a charity of ones choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
