Helen Covington Thomas passed away November 5, 2021 at Baptist East in Memphis, TN at the age of 83. She was born July 25, 1938 to Otha Lee Covington and Lucy Hazelle Patrick in Gadsden, Tennessee. Helen was a self employed Child Care Provider at her home and was a member of the Baptist church.
Helen is survived by two daughters: Jo Helen James (Robert) of Arlington, TN, Patricia Elyce Thomas (Gerard Bermel) of Farmers Branch, TX; one sister: Gail Call of Ward, AK; three grandchildren: Rhea Patrick Bermel of Sherman, TX, Lauren Nicole James of Bartlett, TN, Jacob Thomas James of Memphis, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Larry & Bobby Covington; two sisters: Patsy Jones, Linda Edgerley.
