Harlingen - Ruben R. Ramirez 66, of Harlingen entered into rest Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was born January 18, 1955 in San Benito, TX to Albino and Guadalupe Ramirez.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ramona R. Klus and a brother, Alvino Ramirez.
Ruben is survived by his loving wife, Ramona Ramirez; his daughter, Roxanne Ramirez and his son, Ruben Ramirez, Jr and his wife Alma; his grandson, Ruben Ramirez III; his brother, Joe Ramirez; 3 sisters, Maria Eva Torres, Olga Puga and Olivia Gonzalez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin Wednesday at 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM and a rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 11, 2021 departing the Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church and interment will follow at Ashland Cemetery.
Ruben was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.
Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home.
