SYLVESTER ANDREW WILLIAMS was born in Wakulla County on September 29, 1946 to Adell Williams and Mattie Quarterman Williams. SYLVESTER was the youngest of five children. He was also raised with his nephew, who was like a younger brother. Both of his parents; siblings, Clarence Poole, Adell Williams, Jr. and Earnestine Dawson; and godbrother, Charles Williams, all preceded him in death.

SYLVESTER accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1973 at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church. He was joined in Holy Matrimony and to their union, three children were born. For over 25 years, Sylvester worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Florida Department of Transportation. He also operated his own auto paint and body repair shop, In his leisure, Sylvester enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

On Saturday, October 17, 2020, God Almighty summoned BROTHER SYLVESTER ANDREW WILLIAMS Home for his eternal rest. He leaves to cherish precious memories, a loving wife, two sons, one daughter. Sylvester was also a grandfather of two, great-grandfather of two, sister, and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who love him and will miss him dearly.
