Ron C. Barker, 70 of Visalia, California, went to be with the Lord on November 01, 2021, in Visalia, California. Ron was born to William Lonnie Barker and June Marie Penrose Barker on September 19, 1951 in Witchita, Kansas.
Ron spent much of his childhood in Kansas before moving to the Los Angeles area where he graduated from Bell High School. After graduation he attended collage for eight years where he earned his Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Child Psychology. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy.
Ron worked for Tulare County Probation for over 15 years. Ron was also head of Loss Prevention for Kmart Stores throughout the valley. Ron later formed ACS (Asphalt Coating and Supplies) in 1990 which he continued to operate until the Lord called him home.
Ron was a devout family man. When he wasn't working hard, he loved music, working on his guitar collection and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Rita Barker of Visalia, CA; two children, Stephen (Bridget) Barker, Kristen Rodriguez of Visalia, CA; and three grandsons, Dillon Barker, Devon Rodriguez, Ashton Rodriguez.
He is preceded in death by his parents William & June Barker; brother Rick Barker; sister Donna Morrow and son in law Raul Rodriguez.
Ron will truly be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church - Goshen, 7210 Ave. 308, Goshen. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, November 15th, 2021 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia.
