Young (Garrison), Lois cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, died peacefully on November 8, 2021 at 12:10pm. She faced her death without fear, embracing her final months with deep gratitude for her life and relationships and confidence in the blessings to come. Lois is survived by her husband of 52 years Timothy Young, her daughter Jenny Schroedel (John) and their daughters Anna and Natalie, her sons TJ Young (Katie Polley) and Vinh Truong (Kyle Lacy), beloved family member Robbie Johnson, her "other daughters" Mollie Mosman & Christina Schultz Yates, along with her cherished nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Garrison, sister Nancy Manolis, brother Harry Harwood Garrison, and parents James Harwood and Dahlia Garrison. Lois was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio but spent most of her adult life in Edina, Minnesota. There, she became a devoted member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, where she founded Stephens Limited, a non-profit estate sale business, which she ran for twenty years. Through this work, she helped ease difficult transitions for families and funded significant outreach. Lois lived her life with grace and humor, creating profound connections with those around her, including the extraordinary teams at Grace Hospice and Carondelet Village who surrounded her with love, laughter and everything she needed to make her final journey. Services will be on Sat., Nov. 13 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Edina. Visitation at 10 AM, Funeral at 11:00 AM with Swedish Smorgasbord to follow. In her final weeks, Lois expressed a strong desire to support the work of Hope Academy.
