Lola Mae Walker, age 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Lola was born May 25, 1929 in Dunreith, Indiana the daughter of the late Vern and Kyle Moore.
She was a Deputy Clerk for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Lola had been a former member of the Lakeview Christian Church and recently attended The Blended Church.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Christine Smith, Gwendolyn "Wendy" Smith, Angela Waldo, Paul Smith, Quinton Smith, Jessica Brandhorst, Brittany Carr, Katie Walker, Lori Sutphin and Jimmy Rief, 22 great grandchildren and 10 great greatgrandchildren. Lola was preceded in death by her husband: Ransom Walker, children: Chester Michael Walker, Phyllis Irene Smith and Leslie Brian Walker and 8 siblings.
A visitation for Lola will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at Family Funeral Care, Indianapolis, Indiana. A celebration of life service will occur Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Family Funeral Care.
