Nancy S. Halstead, 93, of Saxonburg passed away on November 8, 2021 at her home.
Born February 20, 1928 in Sarver, PA, she was the daughter of Lonnie R. Staley and Florence Hanford Staley.
Nancy was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Sarver, where she had served as church secretary and sang in the church choir, and was also a member of the Sarver Community Choir. She enjoyed music, sewing and serving and caring for her family.
Surviving are her son, James H. (Linda) Halstead of Saxonburg, three daughters, Rebecca (David) Griffith of Winston-Salem, NC, Ellen (David) Fogel of Saxonburg and Ruth (Tom) Bates of San Antonio, TX, her sister, Maxine Wetzel of Saxonburg, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death her parents, her husband, Howard L. Halstead, on October 16, 2016, one son, Jon Halstead, one daughter, Melinda Halstead Pegher and one great-granddaughter Emily Linamen.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, 12:30 pm at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Saxonburg, PA, with Rev. Rob Swinsburg officiating.
Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
