A celebration of life service will be held Saturday Nov. 13th, 1pm in the Centralia Room at the Mead Hotel, Wisconsin Rapids, Wi.
Mary was born to John and Lavinia Steinmann on Dec. 17th, 1948 in Keokuk Iowa. She grew up in Kahoka Mo. and later moved to Wisconsin. Mary was well known for her knitwear designs. She published her designs in various magazines and books, as well as two books she authored.
She is survived by her sisters, Magdelena McMillan, Margaret Willis; her brother George Steinmann: her daughters Joanna (Rich) May, Laurel Wirtz, Susan (David) Simone; nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the charity of your choice. Mary had a special interest in birds, art, and children.
