The daughter of Sydney and Ellen Mary nee Cloake Melbourne, she married Leslie George Shore on 10 Dec 1913 in Tumbarumba, NSW. They had 5 (five), children.

OBITUARY
MRS. L. E. SHORE
The death occurred suddenly in a private hospital in Wagga early on Sunday morning of Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth (Shore, aged 34 years, wife of Mr. Leslie E. Shore, of Pullitop. Mrs. Shore was a daughter of Mr. S. Melbourne, of Tumbarumba; She is survived (by her husband and a family of nine children. Her funeral will move from Mr. J. C. M'Donald's premises at 3 o'clock today for interment in the Church of England division of the Wagga cemetery.
