Betty Loretta (Harris) Hawkins, 84, of Dayton, TN, passed away on November 6, 2021 at her residence. She was a life-long resident of Dayton and of the Baptist faith. She was a charter member of Hilltop Baptist Church and had the privilege of being the most senior member of the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Nellie (Pelfrey) Harris; her husband, Rev. Garland Hawkins; three brothers, Henry Harris, Billy Harris, and Allen Mooneyham; and five sisters, Rachael Wyrick, Lucille Swafford, Ruth Swafford, Ruby Mickel, and Edna Harris.

She is survived by one brother, four daughters, one son, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Service for Betty will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday November 9, 2021 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Brother David Umphrey and Pastor David Brock officiating. Interment will follow at Spence Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
