Selma Arlena Stinnett was born in Garrison, Missouri, where she lived throughout her life, She married Henry Workman in 1930. and together they operated Workman's General Store for forty-four years. Mr Workman preceded her in death in 1988.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Cora (Farwell) Stinnett. a grandson, Paul Richard Workman, a brother Grant Stinnett, and a sister, Alma Beth.

Survivors include: Two sons and their wives, Paul and Marguerite Workman, Kissee Mills, and Darrell and Lucille Workman, Springfield, three grandchildren, Brad Workman and his wife, Barbara, Oldfield, Doug Workman , Kissee Mills, and Paula Workman-Kabler and her husband Brent, Columbia, four great grandchildren, Kit, Miles, John, and Amanda Workman, a sister-in-law , Nellie Stinnett , Ozark , nieces and nephews.

Officiating at services was Vernon Fuller.
