Dorothy L. Kaspar (Polasek) Fitzgerald, 72, of Taylor, Texas passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007.
Dorothy was born Feb. 15, 1935 in Taylor, the daughter of Louis and Vlasta (Sladek) Kaspar. On Sept. 9, 1972 she was joined in marriage to Bobby Clyde Fitzgerald.
A lifetime resident of Taylor, Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandparent and homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bobby Clyde Fitzgerald and Edward John Polasek; son, Joseph Polasek; grandson, David Webb; great-granddaughter, Rebecka Welton; and brother, Joe Kaspar.
Dorothy is survived by her children, John Polasek, James Polasek, Donnie Webb, Barbara Thonig and husband Charles, Glen Polasek and wife Joan, Sharon Muston, Debra Buchhorn and husband Glenn, Mary Williams and husband Gary, David Polasek, Cynthia Kruse and husband Timmy, Laura Druesdow and husband Gordon, Timothy Polasek, Brian Fitzgerald and wife Shanna, Melissa Fitzgerald and husband Victor Robinson; 31 grandchildren, Kimberly Welton, Michele Charles, James Polasek Jr., Edward Polasek II, Michael Webb, Joey Webb, Clayton Webb, Nathan Thonig, Stephanie Thonig, Virginia Polasek, Elizabeth Polasek, Carrie Thomas, Zachary Buchhorn, Patrick Buchhorn, Tanya Butoryak, John Williams, Jonathan Williams, Rufina Polasek, Julie Polasek, Stacy Kruse, Samantha Kruse, Brandon Kruse, Jessica Mokry, Daryl Druesdow, Shelbi Druesdow, Steven Polasek, Jennifer Polasek, Dylan Fitzgerald, Hunter Fitzgerald, Bobbi-Sue Fitzgerald and Dalton Fitzgerald; 35 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Mulsow; and brother, Dan Kaspar.
The rosary will be prayed Friday, Dec 7, at 6 p.m. at Condra Memorial Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Dec 8, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to The St. Mary's Cemetery Association.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
