Natalie Smith, age 84, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Country Terrace Assisted Living in Tomahawk under the care of Ministry Hospice.

Natalie was born April 27, 1935, in the Town of Hawkins, WI, to the late Edward and Helen (Kopacz) Nystrom. When she was a baby, she and her family moved to Ely, MN, where her parents worked in the logging camps.

Natalie was later married to Willard "Ray" Smith on June 9, 1956, in Tomahawk; he passed away on April 28, 1987. She had been a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Natalie was an avid reader and loved a good word search book. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bird watching, bowling, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Survivors include: 4 Sons, Kenneth (Andrea) Smith, of Tomahawk, Willard "Bob" (Mary) Smith, of Tomahawk, Thomas Smith, of Merrill, WI, and David Smith, of Florida; 1 Brother, Edward (Sherri) Nystrom, of Tomahawk; 1 Sister, Audrey (Ken) Jergensen, of Florida. Natalie is further survived by her Grandchildren, Kyle (Gina), Sadie (Ted), and Corey (Lily); Her Step-Grandchildren, Evan and Jessi (Josh); Her Great-Grandchildren, Luke, Alex, Tala, and Esmẻ; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Natalie was preceded in death by her Parents, Edward and Helen Nystrom; and her Husband, Willard "Ray" Smith.

Memorial Services for Natalie Smith will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 6:30 PM from Generations Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. Visitation will take place at Generations on Saturday from 4:30 PM until the time of Services at 6:30 PM. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
