Amos G. Mahaffey...son of William Mahaffey and Mary Durdin. Husband of Sarah Harrison Richardson. A pioneer of Southeast Texas, settling around what is now called Tomball, Texas. He was a farmer owning lots of land. He passed away on a return trip passing near Chester, Texas. His two sons were with him and buried him. Supposedly buried here in Peach Tree Village Cemetery(not the Burch-Cauble Cemetery). The cemetery is an old neglected one that has been overgrown with trees and brush through the years.
