On November 3, 2021, JAMES R. STOKES, JR., beloved husband of Nancy I. Stokes; devoted father of Edward Osgood, Christine Rinker, and Matthew Rockstroh. Loving grandfather of Jonathan and Sarah, Steven and Emma, Audriauna, Jacob, Caleb, Justin, Canaan, Taylor, and Aaron. Great-pop to three lovely great grand-daughters. Dear brother of Thomas G. Stokes, Daniel T. Stokes, Debbie A. Stokes-Hare, and the late Michael P. Stokes. Jimmy was a member of Ionic Lodge #145 AF&AM and Past Patron of Parkton Chapter #42 Order of the Eastern Star.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Sunday, November 7th, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service on Monday, November 8th, 2021 at 10am. Interment Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Shriner's Hospital for Children in his memory.
