Age 81, son of the late Oren H. and Dora Marshall. He graduated from Strong Vincent High School, Allegheny College, Temple Medical School and attended Case Western Reserve. He interned for general practice at Hamot Hospital. He was a member of the Erie County Medical Society, American Medical Society and the American Family Practice Society. He was in private practice for forty-eight years and became Medical Director of Pleasant Ridge Manor East and substituted at Pleasant Ridge Manor West. He was a member of Lakewood Methodist Church. He was guest soloist at numerous area churches of all faiths and had sung with The Erie Philharmonic chorus. At eighteen, he volunteered for the Navy Medical Corp during WWII.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Marshall of Hilliard, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Marshall; two sons, Jeffrey Marshall (Elizabeth) of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; Kim Alan Marshall of North Olmsted, Ohio; a daughter, Andrea DiNardo (John, of Erie); grandchildren; sister, Dedra Marshall Franks (d 2009, age 87) of Sequin, Wash., a sister-in-law, Ruth Marshall of Hilliard, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
