One of the great mystery-story writers, creator of the elegant Lord Peter Wimsey and his manservant Bunter. Sayers was a churchwarden at St. Anne's, and although the church was bombed in WWII, wanted to be buried there. Her body was cremated at Golders Green Crematorium in London, England. Her ashes are interred beneath the tower, which was left standing by the bombs.
