SELLERS - Douglas Jimmy Edwards, 79, passed away at his home Saturday, November 6, 2021 after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Richardson Funeral Home, burial will follow at Palmetto Memorial Gardens. The service will be live streamed on the Richardson Funeral Home Facebook page for all those unable to attend.

Mr. Edwards was born in Marion, a son of the late Fred Edwards Sr. and Belle Soles Edwards. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Kirkman Edwards; three sons, Terry Edwards, Leverne Edwards, and Jerry Edwards; and three brothers, Larry Edwards, Howard Edwards, and Fred Edwards.

Jimmy worked in road construction for most his life until retirement. He was a member of Cabin Full Gospel Church in Sellers.

Surviving is a son, Jimmy Edwards, Jr.; a daughter, Lisa B. Edwards (Ricky); step-son David Lawson (Kaye); step-daughter, Pamela Smith; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
