He was born on August 23, 1950 the son of Raymond and Margaret (Knudson) Rodgers. He graduated from Winneconne High School and then attended barber school. He was then drafted into the US Army, where he served two terms in Vietnam. On May 14, 2004, Jr. married Kay (Otteson)Schultz. Jr. worked in for the Town of Menasha until retiring in 2006. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and exploring for arrowheads.
Jr is survived by his wife, Kay; his furry companion, Tinkerbell, his mother, Margaret Rodgers, Neenah; three brothers, John (Carol) Rodgers, Menomonee Falls; Robert (Bonnie) Rodgers, Appleton; Karl Rodgers, Pine River; four sisters, Kristine "Tina" Luebke, Neenah; Donna (Mark) Krause, Hortonville; Janet (Paul) Beck, Menasha; Joyce (Jeff) Christian, Neenah; two step-sons, Ben (Rhonda) Schultz, Gillett; Andy (Special friend, Stacey) Schultz, Winneconne; three step-grandchildren, Jackson, Mick and Willow Schultz; nieces, nephews, other relatives, special friends, Sam(Tina) Seelow and Pat Coughlin and many other friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Rodgers.
Per Jr's wishes, private family services were held.
