Amy was born on December 3, 1976 to the late Martin and Julia (Spencer) Danson in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Amy grew up in St. Charles, MO where she graduated from Francis Howell North High School in 1995. Following her high school graduation, she went on to attend St. Charles Community College.
Amy was passionate about working with children and throughout the years she worked at God's Little Tikes in Jefferson City, Bailey's Learn & Play in Loose Creek, and most recently at Apple Tree Academy also in Jefferson City.
On March 15, 2014, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Matt Branson in Linn, MO. Together they made many good memories on the back of their Harley, and enjoyed their lives together. Matt will forever cherish these memories and hold them near to his heart.
Amy enjoyed playing video games and coloring with her kids, loved classic rock and was a big fan of anime.
Above all else she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids.
Amy is survived by her husband Matt Branson; five daughters: Heather Branson, Lillian Roberts, Haley Branson, Destiny Riley, and Taliaa Pendergrass; one son Gabe Branson; three grandchildren: Jaxon Pendergrass, Oaklyn Pendergrass, and Melanie Moppin; one sister Toni Aultman; one grandfather Bill Danson; and her loving in laws Dave and Peggy Branson.
In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her grandmother Yvonne Danson.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Community Christian Church, 1598 US-50; Linn, MO, immediately followed by a memorial service with Pastor Tim Mitchell officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Amy Branson Scholarship Fund, 1217 E. Main St., Linn, MO 65051.
