Mrs. Elizabeth Sipes aged 63 years died Monday night at 6 o'clock at her home In Columbus Miss. She had been ill for more than a yea. r Born in Germany Mrs. Sipes came to this country and settled in Madison county when a small child She was a life-long member of the Methodist church. About ten years ago she moved from Madison county to Columbus Miss. Most of her life was spent near Denmark Tenn. The remains arrived last night over the GM&O railroad at 10 o'clock and were carried to the funeral parlor of the Alexander Undertaking Company where they rested throughout the night. Surviving are: her husband L M Sipes and one daughter Mrs. C G Edwards. Rev L M Edwards conducted the funeral services at Shady Grove church this morning at 10 o'clock and interment was in Shady Grove cemetery
