On November 1, 2021, Thomas E. Morris, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away following a long illness. Thomas was born in Dalhart, Texas to the late George and Laura Morris.

Tom was a graduate of Texas Tech. After his service in the Army, he was employed by National Tank and Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company before coming to New Orleans, where he joined Cutler Equipment Company. He then opened his own business, Pump Service and Repair Company until his retirement. Tom played a lot of golf with friends, but his true passion was fishing with his boat. Tom loved to tell stories of his youth, and had a story for every occasion which connected us all with much laughter.

Tom is survived by his wife, Mary, and children Kathy, Michael, Karrie, and Claire. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his sister Leighanna Whol.

Tom will be remembered for his kindness and generous spirit, loved by his family and we will carry his memory in our hearts forever.

A Graveside Service was held privately by the family at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, www.michaeljfox.org.
