James T. Fields Sr, age 96, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born on March 9, 1925 in Newnan, Georgia, son of the late Walter Fields and the late Elizabeth Boyd Fields. He was a member of Shiloh Church and a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Dainey Fields and son James Fields, Jr.
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
The service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home Monday, November 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Happy Howard.
Private family burial will be held at a later date.
