A sheet rock finisher by trade, he worked for Bill Told Painting for 17 years and Rabelais Drywall for 25 years.
He loved music and was a guitarist and songwriter in the early days of popular country music, counting Hank Williams, Sr. as a close friend.
Private services were held, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
