Obituary of Adam E. Thiry

Adam E. Thiry passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2021 in Puyallup, WA. He was 59 years old.

Adam was born in Seattle, WA and grew up in Renton, WA. He was a wonderful, kind man with a fun sense of humor and a great laugh. He was passionate about his beliefs of which some topics inspired lively conversations. When a situation arose, Adam was ready to help with action or advice. He believed in being self-sufficient, one of many traits he learned from his dad, Paul, growing up. Adam worked as an auto mechanic for several years before starting a career at Boeing that spanned 31 years.

Adam, with his wife Sue, enjoyed activities in the local community, home improvement projects, cooking and BBQing, and road trips. Adam also enjoyed spending time with family. There was always a reason to get together - birthdays, holidays, Seahawks, new recipes, the list goes on. Adam loved his pets, Kira and Bella, too.

Adam is survived by his loving wife Sue, son Paul (Haleigh) Thiry, mother SunJa Tinsley, sisters Tina (Rick) Harshfield, Deann (Greg) Schoeler, stepsister Valerie (David) Enger, stepbrothers Mark (Bonnie) Tinsley, Bruce (Darci) Tinsley, and Paul (Cindy) Tinsley and a wonderful, loving extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Thiry and stepfather Ken Tinsley.

A private interment was held at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup.
