Christine Staats-Mason, age 93 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life to begin her eternal life in Heaven on November 3, 2021. Christine was born in Oklahoma City to Samuel Gibson and Virgie Leopard Gibson on June 3, 1928. Until her retirement, Christine spent her working career as a Counselor at NAIC. After retiring from NAIC, she began working for the Oklahoma Tax Commission, where she worked for 20 years.

Christine lived her life to the fullest. She loved history and liked to travel, and she was able to travel the world with her family, creating many precious memories and life changing experiences along the way. Christine was an active member of the First Christian Church of Norman. There, she was an integral part of the Christian Women's Fellowship ministry and sang in the church choir. She absolutely loved flowers and enjoyed spending time tending to her beautiful gardens. Christine's warm, tender heart touched the lives of many people throughout her life, and she will be forever remembered and missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 49 years, C.H. Staats, her second husband, Omega "Bob" Mason, her mother and father, Virgie and Samuel Gibson, a son, Steve Staats, as well as three brothers, Alvin Newman, Lee Holder, and Buster Gibson.
