Moak, Ethie L. Moak, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021, after a recent hospitalization. An avid reader, crafter, square-dancer, and pie maker, she will be missed by friends and family alike. Ethie was the fiancee of the late George Bonnier of Schaghticoke. Ethie is survived by her three sons, David Moak, Richard Moak, and Michael Moak; daughter, Robin (Moak) Pierce; several grandchildren; and her great-granddaughter, Kerrigan. Ethie worked for many years as a legal secretary, and retired a dedicated CSEA employee at Child & Youth Services. She was an active member of the Onesquethaw Reformed Church, her community, and participated in many organizations such as the New Scotland Historical Society, among others. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Onesquethaw Reformed Church. At 12 p.m., services will begin for the funeral and celebration of her life. Following, the burial will be held at the Onesquethaw Cemetery. Friends are invited to join the family for a small reception in the church immediately following the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ethie's memory to the Onesquethaw Reformed Church, 11 Groesbeck Rd, Feura Bush, NY 12067.
