A funeral service for Mrs. Deborah Henderson, 65 of Oxford, will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 1:00 pm in the Toby Miller Chapel at Miller Funeral Home. Bro. Rick Alldredge will be officiating. A burial will follow the service at Little John Cemetery, located at 501 Sulphur Springs Rd. Piedmont, AL 36272. The family will receive friends on the same day from 11:30 until the time of the service.
Mrs. Henderson passed away on November 4, 2021.
She is survived by her daughter, Brandy Albritton (Adrian); siblings, Donny Brown, Kim Henderson, Pamela Brown, Randy Pugh, Tina Huff, Robin Barousse, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Junior" Henderson; parents, Jean Pugh, Donald Brown, and Sylvia Brown; grandparents, Jack and Mattie Neal, and her brothers, Michael Brown and Lamar Pugh.
Pallbearers will be James Henderson, Tim Edwards, Adrian Albritton, Randy Pugh, Donny Brown, and Cameron Chandler.
Mrs. Henderson retired as a nurse after 35 years of dedicated service. She was a loyal member of Southside Baptist Church in Oxford and had recently dedicated her life to the Lord. She had a servant's heart and would help anyone who needed it.
Mrs. Henderson was a loving and caring wife, mother, and sister. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Amedisys Home Health, especially Michelle Alldredge, and New Beacon Hospice for the love and care shown to Mrs. Henderson, and to all of the family and friends for the thoughts and prayers sent to the family.
