Ken was born in Hull, Quebec and had a love for all things outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and camping, but fishing, held a special place in his heart. He devoted his time to his family and his community with involvement in a diverse range of organizations. He was a founder of the Chelrod Car Club, a Scout leader and member of the BP Guild, a square caller with the Old Time Fiddlers Association in Ottawa and a member of the United Church of Canada.
A celebration of his life will be held at Rosemount Lodge (41 Rosemount Ave, Ottawa) on Saturday November 13th.
The Orange Lodge Service for members will take place between 1:30 and 2 PM.
A friends and family visitation will take place between 2:00 and 2:45 PM; followed by a service and reception.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for tribute donations to Scouts Canada or a charity of your choice:
