Son of Francisco Molina de la Cruz and Josefa Morion Rojo. He came to the U.S. in 1961 and lived in Ashville, NC while attending Warren Wilson College. He later moved to the midwest where, in 1965, he was able to bring his wife, Maelia, from Cuba to the U.S. He became a U.S. citizen in 1970. He worked with Commonwealth Edison Company, the Federal government and the Veterans Administration as a power plant operator. He retired in 2004. He was a previous resident of Jacksonville, FL for over 35 years and moved to Emerson three years ago. Surviving are his wife, Maelia Rivet Molina; children, Dwayne Molina (Amanda), Steve Molina (Tabitha), Melissa Hoenigmann (Eric), and Maelia Stamey (Johnny); grandchildren, Rebecca, Heather (James), Jacob, Christopher (Katelyn), Blake (Paige), Mitchell (Hannah), Amber (Brandon), Austin, Alec, Peyton, and Addison; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Logan, Tatum, Colleen, Elizabeth, Brinley, Mack, Casey, Blakely, and Bjorn; and sisters, Aida, Esther, Margot and Miriam.
