Cathy was born March 13, 1947 in Anderson, Texas to Mary (Szymczak) Borski and Ignatius Borski. She grew up om the family farm and graduated from Anderson High School where she played basketball. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
After graduation, Cathy moved to Houston and worked for Fleming Foods for many years. She married and had 2 beautiful children, Kimberly and
James "Jim".
The family then moved to Oak Ridge North in Spring, Texas and became a part of that community. She went to work in the building materials industry for Louisiana Pacific in Conroe, Texas where she met her soul mate and best friend, Harrell Holland. They married and shared a common love for the country and raising cattle at the farm in Anderson, Texas for 32 years. After retiring from Louisiana Pacific, she enjoyed the best times of her life visiting friends and relatives, working at her farm, tending to her plants, and loving on her family and grandchildren. Cathy had a heart to serve others and never expected anything in return.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Ignatius Borski, her brother Tommy Borski, her husband Harrell Holland, and her son James Michael "Jim" Brasher.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Boudreaux and partner Darrel Gonsoulin, stepdaughters, Telisa and husband Robert Marsh, Michelle Holland, and Selena Holland. Grandchildren, Mitchell and Lauryn Boudreaux, Amelia Brasher, and step grandsons, Joshua Marsh and Ethan McCulley. Sister-in-law, Shirley Borski, nephew Greg Borski and husband Phillip Bowden, niece, Brenda Morris and husband Steven, along with many other relatives and friends.
