Joyce Ann Hulme, 87, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at her residence.

Born Thursday, October 25, 1934, in Dyer County, Tennessee,she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Rose and the late Lattie Mae Featherston Rose. She retired from the Dyer County School System as an assistant cafeteria manager and she was a former employee of Security Bank. Mrs. Hulme was a life-long member of Lemalsemac Church of Christ and a devoted pre-school Sunday school teacher for many years. Mrs. Hulme was also a member of Home Demonstration Clubs.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hulme will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Alan Sims and Bro. Wilford Mobley. Private family Interment will be held at a later date at Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons, Randell Elliott Hulme of Newbern, Tennessee and Gregory Lynn Hulme of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, Billy Rose (Martha) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Doris Sims of Newbern, Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Maurine Nabors; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband, Benson Hulme and one sister, Virginia Jo Townsend.
