The handsomest cards seen in Charlotte this season were those issued by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hall Gaither, yesterday bearing Wright's stamp, to the marriage of their daughter Sadie, to Rev. Robert Campbell Anderson, Jr., Wednesday, Nov. 11th, at 7 o'clock, First Presbyterian church, this city.
Cards were enclosed announcing that Mr. and Mrs. Anderson would be "at home" in Roanoke, Va., after November 25th.
The love birds tell many secrets, but to only a few had they whispered of this brilliant affair which will interest society not only here, but in other points in this State and Virginia.
The bride-elect in one of Charlotte's loveliest young women, and happy indeed he should be who has won her.

Benefactress of School Dies at 90
MONTREAT, Oct. 4 (AP) - Mrs. Sadie Gaither Anderson, widow of the founder of Montreat-Anderson College and long a benefactress of the school, died Wednesday night at the age of 90.
Daughter of a prominent Charlotte family, Mrs. Anderson married the late Dr. Robert Campbell Anderson in Charlotte in 1896.
After living 15 years in Shelbyville, Tenn., and Gastonia, they came to Montreat, when he was elected president, treasurer and manager of the Mountain Retreat Assn.
Dr. Anderson founded what is known as Montreat-Anderson College (then a junior college for girls known as Montreat Normal School) in 1916. He served as president of the school and the association until his retirement in 1947.
An architect and builder, he created Assembly Inn, Anderson Auditorium, the World Fellowship Building, College Hall and Gaither Hall, given to the school by his wife and named after her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Gaither.
Mrs. Anderson was a graduate of Charlotte Female Institute, now Queens College, and still maintained a winter home in Orlando, Fla.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gaither Hall Chapel.
Graveside rites will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery at Charlotte.
